Days numbered for illegal down loaders as crackdown passes parliament.
So, Australia is sitting by watching the government sneak in censorship laws for the internet... so, from now on we have given Tony Abbott the power to have any site blocked that the government deems to be "illegal" under their terms. Well done, Australia. If you happen to post internet meme's based on copyrighted material, this is YOU being illegal. So, the government has every right now, to block your beloved Facebook thanks to YOU posting copyrighted material. Or if you accidentally use a copyrighted image on your club's website, the government may shut you down. Will it stop illegal downloading..? Well, in the UK where they've got the same laws, illegal downloads have gone up by 12%. So... my guess is: Nope.
